FREE session :: “Buy or Build It”
This session is specific to SBA’s CDC/504 Loan Program which is an SBA financing tool for economic development within a community providing start-up and existing small businesses with long-term, fixed rate financing for the purchase of major fixed assets such as land and building.  Why lease your small business facility when you can own!  South Texas Business Fund, a Certified Development Company will be the guest speaker along with the SBDC and the UTSA Small Business Development Center.

ACCION TEXAS will detail their available Micro Loan Program for loans up to $100,000 and the SBA 504 CDC Loan Program for purchase of land and building for eligible existing small businesses and start-ups. Why rent when you can own your own small business facility! SBA Lead Business Development Specialist Mary Alice Blanco will highlight new opportunities of the American Recover & Reinvestment Act as it relates to the Stimulus Bill. Business Advisor Benito Garza with the UTSA-SBDC who provides FREE one-on-one counseling and technical assistance at Coastal Bend College will also share their services.
